This pre-congress meeting will cater to beginner and advanced ultrasound users and anyone who is interested in learning more about the potential of ultrasound for endometriosis. With an array of world experts in endometriosis imaging and a special selection of topics, the meeting will provide all the necessary building blocks to initiate and advocate for endometriosis ultrasound in an attendee’s home centre. The live scan will be the pinnacle of the event, not to be missed, with teaching on how to break down a complex severe endometriosis case into stepwise parts. View the full programme here.
This pre-congress meeting is aimed at trainees and early-career faculty. Guest speakers will discuss their career pathways and provide tips for career progress, followed by an interactive Q&A. Attendees will then move between tables on different topics, including finding a faculty position, work-life balance, balancing clinical and research, obtaining funding and getting published, with each table moderated by WES senior and early-career ambassadors. A variety of factors including peritoneal, ovarian, tubal and uterine dysfunction play a role in endometriosis-associated infertility and influence patients social and sexual life. Early diagnosis of endometriosis might avoid a negative impact on fertility. But what would be the ideal protective treatment approach? And how should the diagnosis of endometriosis and adenomyosis influence fertility work-up? Where is the place for surgery in deep endometriosis, adenomyosis and ovarian endometriosis in infertile patients? The EEL special focus meeting will give you answers on these questions and practically guide you in counselling your patients with endometriosis-associated infertility. View the programme here.
The aim of this meeting is to describe the current state of the art vision of different aspects of adenomyosis, including both basic research and clinical management and also future perspectives. The meeting is designed for gynaecologists, obstetricians, registrars, trainees, nurses, and adenomyosis researchers with an interest in adenomyosis, including support groups and will provide attendees with expert knowledge of this disease and the necessary skills for its treatment.
