Clinical Psychologist and NIHR Research Fellow, University of Oxford

Dr Emma Evans is a Clinical Psychologist with the Nuffield Department of Women’s and
Reproductive Health, University of Oxford.

Emma completed her clinical training in Oxford and specialises in women’s health, working
in a multidisciplinary pelvic pain service. She has worked in a range of clinical services
including primary care, chronic pain and psychosexual and has extensive training in
psychological therapies including CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based interventions, and
compassion focused therapy. Her research interests are in developing and adapting
psychological interventions, so they are experienced as relevant and helpful for people living
with the challenges of long-term health conditions, including endometriosis.
